The Remington R1 isn’t the first 1911 that Remington has ever made. The company made a small production run of M1911 pistols toward the end of the first World War. Unfortunately, peace broke out and they ceased production.
Is the Remington 1911 Good?
Since it is so tight, it is very accurate. The inside of the barrel was a bit rough at first but it polished out. This gun is without a doubt the most accurate 1911 I’ve ever owned and may be the most accurate handgun I’ve ever owned.
