Talen-Jei works at The Bee and Barb in Riften. He wants to marry Keerava and will give you a miscellaneous objective to find amethysts for the ring (see walkthrough).

Talen-Jei’s Wedding Ring is a miscellaneous objective given to you by Talen-Jei in The Bee and Barb in Riften. Talen-Jei will ask you to find three flawless amethysts for a ring so he can marry Keevara. Deliver him the amethysts and you will receive a potion of minor stamina as a reward.

Is Talen-Jei essential?

This issue has been addressed by version 1.1 of the Official Skyrim Patch; Talen-Jei is made essential.

Where can I find flawless amethyst in Riften?

• One can be found in the Tower Section of Blind Cliff Cave.
• Dustman’s Cairn, just past where Farkas turns into a werewolf, on a small pedestal.
• Two can be found in Korvanjund during the Civil War questline.

Why does Talen Jei follow?

Everytime I go into the Bee and Barb, Talen-Jei follows me everywhere until I leave Bee and Barb. Why does he do this? Every shop owner does this, it’s to prevent you from leaving their sight and stealing something.
