How long does it take for eras to process?

How long do documents take to process? Documents will take up to five business days to process once submitted.

Can I submit eras without Mspe?

NO. You also DO NOT list or assign the MSPE. It is sent automatically to your programs. The same is true for your transcript.

Can I apply without Mspe?

Can you submit eras before letters of recommendation?

Typically, we recommend waiting until you have all your LoRs before applying, especially if you will have all your LoRs before MSPEs come out on October 1st. However, if you do not have any LoRs, you should wait until you have at least 1, but preferably 2.

How do you ask for Mspe?

According to the ECFMG, there are three ways that an MSPE can be submitted:

  1. The applicant can submit via ECFMG’s Online Applicant Status and Information System (OASIS).
  2. The applicant can use the MyECFMG mobile app.
  3. OR the medical school can submit the MSPE directly via EMSWP ERAS (if it participates in that system).

Is eras ID the same as AAMC ID?

When registering with ERAS, applicants will be asked to provide their AAMC ID number. If students don’t know their ID number, ERAS will provide it once they have registered. Applicants will need to keep their AAMC ID#, as this will be their log in thereafter.
