How are the BAFTAs voted for?

After all the entries have been received, they are voted for online by all eligible members of the Academy. The programmes and performances attracting the most votes, usually four in each category, are shortlisted as the nominees for each award.

How do I submit a film to Bafta?

To submit your film for consideration, please complete the BFI form, linked on the BAFTA Entry Information page. The submission deadline is 20 November. The BFI Diversity Standards Shorts criteria are here.

Do you need to be British to win a Bafta?

Annual ceremony Most of the awards are open to all nationalities, though there are awards for Outstanding British Film and Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Producer or Director.
