Prepare for the test

  4. Give yourself a realistic goal, and follow a schedule that will help you work on it step by step.

What is FCE listening?

Cambridge English: B2 First (FCE) Listening The test has four sections and takes about 40 minutes: Part 1 – listen to 8 recordings, each with one question. Part 2 – listen and complete gapped sentences. Part 3 – multiple matching, 5 speakers. Part 4 – a longer recording, with 7 multiple choice questions.

Is FCE easy?

The FCE is a very challenging exam which tests all language skills -reading, listening, writing, grammar and most importantly speaking. You need 60% to pass and have to do all the tasks under time pressure.

How do you assess FCE exam?

The examination also provides reliable assessment at the level above B2 (Level C1) and the level below (Level B1)….B2 First Scale Scores.
